Watchmaking has a proud history in Sweden. Victor Kullberg is one of history’s foremost chronometer builders. At the World Exhibition in London in 1862, he won both first and second prizes in the chronometer competition and was named “the best without comparison”. Mechanical ship chronometers were at that time absolutely crucial for safe navigation on the seas.
The watchmaking tradition lives on in Sweden thanks to the journeyman training courses that the Swedish Watchmakers’ Association ensures quality.
What does Perfectwatch certified pre-owned stand for?
To make your ownership as worry-free as possible, all certified watches have a warranty card from us with a built-in NFC chip with which you can always check the certification, validity and performed actions by holding the card against a compatible device such as a mobile phone, tablet or NFC reader. You can also check it manually further down this page using the case number on the warranty card.
The requirement for a watch to be certified with UrBrev certified pre-owned is that we must have performed at least the following actions:
Verification of the authenticity of the watch
Theft control
Jumping of the movement
Gear control with a maximum average deviation of ±15 seconds per day, calculated over 4 positions.
Amplitude check with a minimum value of 200° in 4 positions
Power reserve check with a minimum value of 24 hours
Check and grease the case gaskets
Approved tightness check of 3 ATM / 5 ATM / 10 ATM (Depending on model and does not apply to vintage)
Ultrasonic cleaning of the case
Ultrasonic cleaning of any links
Checking the track pins Worry-free ownership
Although exclusive watches often become more beautiful with age and are built to last, all watches that are certified undergo thorough testing, cleaning and functional checks by our watchmakers. All watches are hand-picked by our trusted dealers and many of the watches are still in very good condition, but those that are not are also fully serviced in our service center.
UrBrev offers between 6 and 12 months warranty on all watches that are “Perfectwatch Certified Pre-Owned”. Thanks to our thorough testing, we dare to guarantee a high standard of our certification and that the watch will be able to delight you for a long time to come.
